California Minimum Tax Payment

Annually all entities doing business in California must prepay the minimum tax to avoid penalties for paying after completion of the tax year. The deadline is the 15th day after the end of the 3rd month following the end of the client tax year. Tax Payment for California is via the following steps.


Here is the link to to start processing payment: https://webapp.ftb.ca.gov/WebPay/Login/BELogin

  • Please choose entity type : Corporations, LLC and Partnership

  • Please enter California entity Id: 7 numbers only, no dashes

  • Type the Characters from the picture and click login

  • Fill out the first and last name and click continue 

  • Choose  Form 100,100S, 100W or 100X and click continue.

  • Choose form 100ES if you are paying for current year's Estimated Tax payment

  • Choose form 100, 100s, 100W or 3586 if its a Original Return payment 

  • Choose form 100x if its Amended Return payment 

  • Click Continue...

  • Period Beginning Date

  • Fiscal year filers: enter the beginning month, day and year of your taxable year.

  • Calendar year filers: enter the first day of the taxable year.


  • Period Ending Date

  • Fiscal year filers: enter the ending month, day and year of your taxable year.

  • Calendar year filers: enter the last day of the taxable year

  • Click Add an estimated tax payment


  • Add amount as $800 and date of the payment 

  • Click continue…

  • Click continue…

  • Add routing number 

  • Add account number and re-enter account number

  • Choose account type and click continue…


Print the confirmation page and share with accounting team
